Project context and summary :
The RIG-I like receptors (RLRs) play a major role in sensing viral infection to initiate and modulate antiviral immunity. These are three RNA helicases entitled RIGI, MDA5 and LGP2 that interact with particular signatures of viral RNA molecules in cytoplasm of infected cell triggering a downstream signalling cascade resulting in the expression of type-I IFNs, proinflammatory cytokines and divers set of antiviral genes. We have recently generated stable cell lines expressing tagged RLRs. By applying affinity chromatography purification of RLR ribonucleoprotein complexes followed by RNA extraction, we observed that short-length RNAs were enriched on RLRs. We have previously sequenced small RNAs of RLRs (PF2 Pasteur) and now need to adjust our new bioinformatic analysis to these RNAseq data with the help of C3BI.
