Project context and summary :

The general objective of the course (October 4th -15th) will be to obtain and characterize mutations leading to colistin resistance arising spontaneously during K. pneumoniae growth under laboratory conditions. During one week, the student will learn how to use complete genome sequence data to characterize mutations. Like last year, due to the SARS epidemic, bioinformatics analysis will be given to 2 groups of 10 students, each time for one week on the campus. If distance learning is required, each student will use the toolkits through the VPN and a VM with all the software required.
